Call for Papers

“People Power: sharing ideas for personal and professional development across the profession”

ALIA Qld would love to hear from you if you are interested in presenting a paper or facilitating an activity at the People Power Mini Conference.
Please send us an outline (no more than 300 words) of either:
• A presentation of a) 15 minutes or b) 30 minutes; or
• Workshop activity of a) 15 minutes b) 30 minutes; or
• Poster; or
• Web based presentation; or
• Web based activity
The “People Power” theme is intentionally broad: suggested topic areas for submissions include (but are not limited to):
• Professional learning/development
• Human resources/recruitment
• Secondments and Job Exchanges
• Working in out-of-the-ordinary roles
• Partnerships with other groups in the community your library serves
• Technology and media in libraries by and for people - employees, clients, communities

Submissions should be made by completing the form below and emailed to kcantwell@bne.catholic.edu.au by 9 May, 2011.
Selected speakers will be advised by 23 May 2011.
